The origin of this book is in the series of twenty programs by the name "Conversations about God" presented at the Loma Linda University Church at 1984. Dr. A. Graham Maxwell opened each evening's topic with presentation, followed by questions and comments from the audience. This book is edited version of those conversations.
Some of the topics included in the book: The conflict in God's family, What went wrong in God's universe? All God asks is trust, The record of the evidence, evaluating the evidence, talking to God as a friend etc.
Conversations about God is still needed today. And this book is an excellent place to begin. Learn about God and celebrate the love given to us all.

Vuonna 1984 Loma Lindan yliopiston kirkossa pidettiin luentosarja "Conversations about God" (suom. Keskusteluja Jumalasta). Tri Graham Maxwell pohjusti jokaisen illan aiheen, minkä jälkeen hän vastasi yleisön kysymyksiin ja kommentteihin. Tähän kirjaan on koottu nuo keskustelut helposti luettavana kokonaisuutena.
Tämä kirja käsittelee monia aiheita, kuten esimerkiksi Jumalan perheen sisäistä konfliktia, Luottamusta Jumalaan, todisteita Jumalasta ja niiden arviointia, Kuinka puhua Jumalalle kuin ystävälle jne.
Yhä nykyäänkin on tarpeen käydä keskustelua Jumalasta. Tämän kirjan myötä keskusteluun on helppo yhtyä.
